Anthony Peters, market strategist at Sol Capital Group
Anthony is from Manchester but was educated in Germany and Switzerland before taking a degree in History and Politics in his home town. He trained in banking in Zurich. Since 1987 he has been back in the City where he worked in fixed income sales. From 2008 until 2015 he was with SwissInvest from where he serviced his institutional clients and provided commentary on markets. He joined Sol Capital Markets as head of strategy in 2016.

LAST SATURDAY I received an email from Russell Taylor, the writer behind the Daily Telegraph’s highly successful and much-loved “Alex” cartoon. It read: “I don’t know if you check your email from holiday. I was wondering if you could help me with a German translation. The German language book of Alex is subtitled ‘Banker, Boni, Boersenwahn’. What does that mean?”
