Doug Decker - Barclays Capital

Doug Decker is head of convertible bond origination and has 14 years of investment banking experience. At Barclays, his team has participated in 22 convertible transactions spanning Europe, Asia and North America. Prior to joining Barclays Capital in 2001, Decker worked at Morgan Stanley in New York where he was a vice president of convertible bond research, with responsibility for credit analysis of convertible bond issuers. Prior to this research role, he traded US Convertibles for the retail division of Morgan Stanley.

Franck Cazaubieilh - BNP Paribas

Franck Cazaubieilh has been with BNP Paribas for 10 years. He started his career with Paribas in Lebanon in 1995. In 1997, he joined the bank’s commodity structure finance department in Paris, where he was in charge of Africa and the Middle East. In 2000, he moved to BNP Paribas’ corporate finance department and specialised in equity-linked products. He was appointed head of equity-linked origination in April 2004.

Manish Wadhwani - HVB

Manish Wadhwani has 12 years of investment banking experience, and has been a convertibles specialist for seven years. He is co-head of equity capital markets at HVB in London and Munich. He has previously worked at UBS, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and SG. He joined HVB in October 2001, where he was head of equity-linked origination until October 2004.

Martin Fisch - Deutsche Bank

Martin Fisch is head of structured solutions in equity capital markets at Deutsche Bank. He has been at Deutsche Bank since 1997 and prior to focusing on convertibles he was a banker focusing on the technology industry. Fisch has worked on over 30 European equity-linked deals raising over €30 billion for his clients.

Antoine de Guillenchmidt - Merrill Lynch

Antoine de Guillenchmidt is a vice president of Merrill Lynch International and part of the EMEA equity capital markets group. He focuses on equity-linked and equity derivative products and works closely with corporate finance, rating advisory and product development teams to originate and execute European transactions. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1999. Prior to this he spent three years in investment banking and equity derivatives with JP Morgan (Paris) and Societe Generale (Hong Kong).

Viswas Raghavan - JP Morgan

Viswas Raghavan is managing director and head of equity capital markets at JP Morgan. He joined the firm in August 2000 from Lehman Brothers, where he was head of equity-linked capital markets for Europe and Asia. He has over 15 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience. During his career Raghavan has been involved in several landmark and notable transactions in Europe, including most recently the €4bn combined equity and equity-linked offering for Allianz.

Stephan Theissing - Allianz

Stephan Theissing has been head of group treasury and corporate finance of Allianz since 1999. Prior to that, he was CFO of Allianz Australia from 1997–1998, and previously held various positions in finance and portfolio management at Allianz Group. In January, Allianz was the subject of a €4bn combined equity-linked and equity transaction.

Lorraine Lodge - Nomura International

Lorraine Lodge has been a convertible analyst since 1995, where she covered both European and Asian issuers at Merrill Lynch. In 2000 she joined ING to run its convertibles research team. In 2003 she joined her colleagues at Nomura, where she runs convertibles research as well as working with capital markets on ideas and structural advice for equity-linked business.
