ECB should only supervise big banks: Schaeuble
(Reuters) – German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble rejected on Monday a European Commission plan to give the European Central Bank sweeping powers to monitor all eurozone banks, saying it should instead focus only on systemically important institutions.
