IFR Brief: BoE Taking stock of FLS impact
The minutes of the August BoE meeting showed little in the way of big surprises. If anything the minutes cement the view that the MPC is in a wait and see mode as it looks to gauge the impact of the funding for lending scheme (FLS). What is still worth mentioning is that the minutes also show that the BoE was looking at the FLS impact and “the implications this had for other potential policy options”.
