IFR Brief: Spokesman clarifies BBVA chairman's comments
Earlier we highlighted comments from BBVA Chairman saying that that the independent stress test will reveal banks need €70-80bn. We now have a spokesman for BBVA saying that the capital needs includes €20bn already disbursed. Thus the headline figure goes back to being in line with the initial stress tests that showed a capital need of just over €60bn.
