IFR Comment: BoE QE expanded by £50bn, basket unchanged

The BoE decided to extend QE by £50bn and keep the basket of gilt purchases unchanged. The current basket is 3-7yrs, 7-15yrs and over-15yrs the only thing to change is that the BoE will now be buying 1bn of gilts in each bucket.
