IFR Comment: Posen shift (before he quits) suggests increasing chance of more QE this year
BoE’s arch-dove turned centrist seems to be ready to shift back to his position as arch-dove judging by his latest interview with MNSI. Adam Posen is highlighting that he had become too optimistic over the UK economic outlook and that he may have been premature in thinking that the MPC had done enough QE.
