On 30 May 2012, leading covered bonds originators, issuers, investors, traders and market professionals gathered in Frankfurt for IFR’s 6th Annual Covered Bonds Conference, to discuss the key issues and challenges in the covered bond markets in 2012-13 and beyond. As ever, the event proved a sell out with standing room only.
Scheduled to provide a mid-year check-in for 2012, this annual conference will assess the health and performance of the covered bond markets in the context of current debt market volatility in Europe. Sessions will cover current trends including the impacts of the ECB purchase programme; the impacts of regulatory changes for covered bond markets; funding requirements; primary origination and issuance prospects, valuation and performance, and investor outlook for 2012-13.
