Angelo Proni - MTS Group

Angelo Proni is currently head of new and domestic markets for the MTS Group and is chairman of the board for MTS France, as well as a member of the boards of MTS Germany, MTS Associated Markets (Belgium, Finland and Denmark) and MTS CeTO (Poland). He joined MTS in early 1999 and has held a series of positions.

Enrique Ezquerra - Spanish Treasury

Enrique Ezquerra has worked for the Spanish Treasury since 1999, both in financial regulation and in the public debt department. He has headed the latter since December 2005 and is responsible for the Spanish state’s funding in euros and foreign exchange.

Zeina Bignier - SG CIB

Zeina Bignier is head of debt capital markets for supranational and public sector at SG CIB. She joined Societe Generale in 1995 and has undertaken a variety of roles within the debt capital markets origination team. Before joining SG, she worked for Cyril Finance Gestion as a relationship manager in charge of French public and private issuers.

Georg Grodzki - LGIM

Georg Grodzki is head of credit research at Legal & General Investment Management. Prior to his current role, he headed the credit research teams at RBC Capital Markets and at Credit Suisse in London. His previous professional experience includes assignments as senior analyst at Moody’s Investors Service as well as posts in merchant banking, management consulting and regional government.

Daniel Shane - Morgan Stanley

Daniel Shane is an executive director and head of frequent borrower syndicate at Morgan Stanley. He has been with the bank for more than 10 years and has been in his current role for the last six, during which time he has been involved in a number of high-profile sovereign and agency transactions in both US dollar and euro-denominated format.

Maria Cannata - Italian Treasury

Maria Cannata joined the Italian Treasury in 1980 and has served as director general of the Public Debt Directorate since December 2000. She is also member of the EU sub-committee of government bills and bonds markets and the steering group of the OECD Working Group on Public Debt Management. Since 2004 she has represented the director general of the treasury on the board of Cassa DP.

Jo Whelan - UK DMO

Jo Whelan was a founder member of the DMO in 1998 and has been deputy CEO since 2000. Prior to that she was at the Bank of England, where she held a number of positions, latterly managing the UK’s foreign currency reserves. Her primary focus is on the design and implementation of the government’s borrowing and treasury management programmes. Her teams are also responsible for lending to local government, the investment of central government funds and more recently in a number of the official interventions in response to the financial crisis.
