John Mastrini manages IFR's online output and is curator of the Capital City blog. He has been with Reuters for over 20 years, most recently as the editor of IFR’s online services. He set up and launched the Reuters Czech and Slovak financial news service in 1993, eventually becoming Prague bureau chief. He moved to London in 2000 as the news editor of the Reuters Financial Television Service and became global editor of Reuters Consumer Television in 2003, heading the creation of Reuters’ online video services. Prior to joining Reuters, John worked in U.S. television news and sports as a reporter, producer and anchor. He was a Gannett National Journalism Scholar at the University of Denver.
