Euan Hamilton - The Royal Bank of Scotland

Euan Hamilton joined The Royal Bank of Scotland Leveraged Finance in 1996, initially as Director responsible for Glasgow and the West of Scotland and subsequently moving on to become Director responsible for Scotland. In late 1999, Euan moved to London to head up the deal execution side of the London operation. In July 2001 Euan was appointed Global Head of the bank’s Leveraged Finance, Mezzanine, CDOs and Private Equity fund investment businesses, with responsibility for some 200 staff across offices in Europe, New York, Los Angeles, Australia and Japan. Since joining the Bank in 1978 Euan has also held a range of senior Relationship and Risk Management roles, based both in London and Edinburgh.

Stephen Pitts - Deutsche Bank

Stephen Pitts has been in Investment Banking for over 14 years at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and for the last four years, at Deutsche Bank. Stephen is currently co-head of the European Leveraged Finance group which has successfully advised clients on an unprecedented number and variety of large recapitalisations and leveraged buyouts.

Richard Burton - HVB

Richard joined Hypovereinsbank in May 2001 within Acquisition and Leveraged Finance initially in Munich with a focus on subordinated debt prior to transferring to London in 2002. In 2003, Richard formally took over leading the push to arrange more LBO transactions with financial sponsors outside of Germany. Prior to joining HVB, Richard was for 12 years at First Chicago in different roles including four years in Chicago as a Managing Director for High Yield Securities Origination.

Louis Gargour - RAB Capital

Louis Gargour is a senior fund manager at RAB Capital. Louis began his career at Salomon Brothers in New York in the 1980s and moved on to run JP Morgan’s high-yield and Emerging Markets credit effort in Switzerland in the early 1990s. Louis joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 in London looking after high yield and fixed income in Switzerland. Louis left Goldman to establish Taurus Asset Management in 1999, and joined forces with RAB Capital in 2001.

Craig Abouchar - Insight Investments

Craig is a senior credit analyst at Insight Investments and a long-term member of the European High-Yield market. Craig moved to Insight Investments in 2004 from ING Asset Management. He is on the board of the European High-Yield Association.

Ian Gilday - Goldman Sachs

Ian Gilday is a managing director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Goldman Sachs.

Christopher Baines - Societe Generale

Chris Baines has over 19 years international banking experience gathered in Paris and London. He has over 13 years of structured finance experience, both as an originator, structurer and syndicator of Loans. Chris has spent the last 10 years as a senior member of SG’s syndicated finance team where after some years heading up the Leverage Finance syndication team he moved to London to head up the European distribution effort of the Bank. His current team operates from Paris, Madrid and London and distributes all SG’s syndicated loans, including structured debt.
