Following the first successful Malaysian Capital Markets conference in 2009, Thomson Reuters IFR returned to Malaysia with a new conference for 2012. The conference was attended by over 150 Malaysian Capital Market professionals.
As the global economy slowly recovers, with US treasury markets and European sovereigns weak with downgrades and near defaults, investors and issuers are increasingly turning to Malaysian markets in the hunt for growth and yield.
The conference will scope new opportunities for domestic and international bond issuers and investors, in both the bond and loan markets in Malaysia in 2012. Sessions will be of direct relevance to arrangers, issuers, investors and fund managers and will provide essential market orientation for all capital markets professionals in the region.
