Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Julia Hoggett to oversee short-term fixed income origination for EMEA at the US-headquartered bank.

Hoggett will work closely with head of ECP trading Tony Dullaghan and his team, as well as with her debt capital markets colleagues globally in her new role, which encompasses all of the bank’s EMEA clients.

The new responsibilities come on top of her existing roles which include heading covered bonds and FIG flow financing for EMEA. She has reported to Marc Tempelman in that function.

Peter Eisenhart previously looked after short-term fixed income but left the bank in 2010. Hoggett joined BoAML in 2010 from DEPFA, a subsidiary of German-based Hypo Real Estate, where she was a board member and a managing director. DEPFA was the largest issuer of Irish Asset Covered Securities before it was nationalised by the German government.
