Neil Atkinson heads BNY Mellon’s depositary receipts business in Asia-Pacific. He has been based in Hong Kong since 2011 where he was previously head of product development and strategy for the bank’s DR business. He joined the BNY Mellon’s London office in 2006. Atkinson has over 20 years of experience in financial services including asset management, banking, clearing and settlement.
SIX Swiss Exchange
Marco Estermann is head of issuer relations at SIX Swiss Exchange. His team is responsible for the origination of new listings as well as relationship management with listed companies. Before joining SIX Swiss Exchange, Estermann worked in corporate finance teams at investment banks in Zurich and London.
Bharat Reddy is principally responsible for JP Morgan’s relationship with the Indian government and sovereign agencies and also heads the DR group in India. He has been based in New Delhi since 1993 and has extensive experience of working with private clients as well as the Indian government and public sector bodies. Reddy has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and previously worked at Bank of Tokyo in New York as an FX trader.
M. S. Sahoo
National Institute of Public Finance and Policy
M. S. Sahoo has over three decades of experience across the public and private sectors, as a regulator and in government in varied areas including reform, policy, regulation, research and analysis. He is currently a visiting Fellow at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy. Prior to this, he was Secretary to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and before that was a legal practitioner in the field of securities law. During his career, he has been a Whole Time Member of SEBI, Joint Secretary (non-functional), Director and Joint Director in the Ministry of Finance; chief general manager of SEBI, and economic adviser to the National Stock Exchange of India.
