Two new members elected to ISDA board

ISDA elected two new board members at its AGM in Montreal today adding further corporate and equity expertise to a board that is dominated by senior fixed income specialists.

Joining the 12-strong board of directors are Yasunobu Arima, general manager, global markets planning division at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ and Sam Skerry global head of structured products at BP.

Arima has been responsible for global regulatory affairs relating to derivatives and market business at BTMU since 2012. Having joined the bank in 1987, he has held a variety of roles including responsibilities for equity research, equity proprietary trading and structuring.

At BP, Skerry leads a global cross-commodity derivatives marketing team for the firm’s integrated supply and trading business. She was previously COO for gas where she led marketing, origination and transportation operations.

She was part of the core transaction team that was responsible for the creation and financial structuring of the former TNK-BP joint venture in Russia.

The following 10 directors were re-elected to the board.
