Frazer Ross - Deutsche Bank

Frazer Ross is a managing director on the global risk syndicate desk at Deutsche Bank within global credit trading at Deutsche Bank in London. His focus is euro and sterling corporate new issues. He has worked at Deutsche Bank for over 10 years. Prior to joining the bank in 2000, Ross worked on the syndicate desk at Toronto-Dominion Bank in London for two years, and at various positions in Sydney.

Thomas Schroder - EIB

Thomas Schröder is deputy head of division and managerial adviser in the capital markets department at the European Investment Bank, where he is responsible for funding in sterling, and in Scandinavian and Sub-Saharan currencies. He has more than 10 years of experience in the international bond and swap markets. Schröder is a member of the EIB’s pensions board and as a member of an expert committee, he assesses research projects applying for support from the EIB-Universities Research Action programme. He previously held an economist position in the economic and financial studies division.

Steven Major - HSBC

Steven Major is the global head of fixed-income research at HSBC. The group includes 50 analysts based in HSBC’s offices in London, Hong Kong, New York, Dubai, Dusseldorf and Bangalore, with specialists covering credit and rates in both developed and emerging markets. In addition to managing the team Major contributes to the regular research reports, particularly for asset allocation and strategic recommendations, and is in regular contact with HSBC’s priority customers. Major joined HSBC as head of European rates strategy in 2001 and was appointed to his current position in 2008.

Georg Grodzki - Legal & General

Georg Grodzki is head of credit research at Legal & General Investment Management. His previous professional experience includes assignments as senior analyst at Moody’s Investors Service as well as posts in merchant banking, management consulting and regional government. Before his current role, Grodzki headed the credit research teams at RBC Capital Markets and at Credit Suisse in London.

Robin Stoole - Lloyds Banking Group

Robin Stoole joined Lloyds in July 2008, after 11 years at JPMorgan where he was European head of corporate syndicate. Stoole has extensive experience of executing bond transactions for corporate borrowers of all ratings, sectors and geographies, having spent the majority of his career (specifically the last seven years) working on the corporate syndicate desk. His other experience includes working in UK origination and on the EMTN desk.

Samantha Pitt - Network Rail

Samantha Pitt is deputy treasurer for Network Rail where she has been since November 2004. Prior to that, she was at the Strategic Rail Authority where she was heavily involved in the structuring and negotiation of government support for all of Network Rail’s financings including the long-term debt issuance programme. Her responsibilities at Network Rail include managing the corporate finance, capital markets, investor relations and hedging activities and primarily ensuring that adequate funding is available to meet the business requirements. Before joining the SRA, Pitt worked in both the telecoms and energy sectors and has over 15 years of corporate finance and funding experience.

Sam Hill - RBC Capital Markets

Sam Hill is a sterling fixed-income strategist at RBC Capital Markets. He is based in London and is a commentator on movements in the Gilt market, as well as broader factors affecting the UK market. Prior to RBC, Hill was at Threadneedle where he was a fixed-income fund manager for six years. He has previously held the position of research associate at Durham Business School.

Myles Clarke - RBS

Myles Clarke is joint head of EMEA syndicate and separately joint head of the frequent borrower group at RBS, having joined Greenwich NatWest in 1999. Clarke started his career in a number of origination roles, including corporates and emerging markets before joining syndicate in 2004 executing covered bonds and public sector new issues. As joint head of the FBG, Clarke leads the origination and syndication of all sovereign and agency new issues. Since January 2010, his syndication responsibilities extended to all new-issue bond business for FI, corporate, EM and FBG clients.
