Franz-Josef Kaufmann - Eurohypo

Franz-Josef Kaufmann was appointed as head of capital markets at Eurohypo in December 2004, having joined from Deutsche Bank where he spent more than seven years in group treasury. As head of issuance activities since 2000, he had been globally responsible for Deutsche’s capital market issuance. Prior to that, he served for more than six years in treasury at Eurohypo in Luxembourg, and for over four years in money market and foreign exchange trading at BfG Bank in Luxembourg.

Ted Lord - Barclays Capital

Ted Lord is a managing director and head of covered bonds at Barclays Capital. Based in Frankfurt, he is involved in the origination of jumbo benchmarks and their marketing to institutional investors around the world. Before his move to Germany, he held senior banking positions in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Prior to his banking career, Lord worked in the White House and the Office of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives.

Christian Reusch - HVB

Christian Reusch is head of debt syndicate at HVB Corporates & Markets. He joined HVB in 1999 to help restructure the syndicate desk and support origination with a special focus on the covered bond business. He became head of benchmark products syndicate in 2002 and also has responsibility for the primary markets book. Prior to HVB, he worked in various functions in the treasury of Württembergische Hypothekenbank.

Frank Will - RBS

Frank Will is senior strategist for frequent borrowers at RBS Financial Markets, focusing on the analysis of covered bonds and European supranationals & agencies. Before joining RBS in May 2005, he was a director with WestLB Credit Research in London for five years. As WestLB’s senior bank analyst, he covered the major European and US banks as well as the fast-growing European covered bond market. Will has a PhD in economics from the University of Dusseldorf.

Louis Hagen - VDP

Louis Hagen is executive director at the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (VDP) in Berlin, having held several executive positions within the organisation in the Bonn and Brussels offices. Previously, he was senior manager of Property Redevelopment Management at Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank and assistant manager at BV-Beteiligungsgesellschaft, a subsidiary of Bayerische Vereinsbank. Hagen has practiced law in Munich and New York, having received his law degree from Munich University and doctorate from Berlin University. .

Christoph Anhamm - ABN AMRO

Christoph Anhamm is in charge of ABS and covered bond research at ABN AMRO, while also engaged in advisory mandates for issuers building up covered bond structures. His career began in 1994 at UBS in Frankfurt, covering German fixed-income products. In 1997 he joined HypoVereinsbank in Munich, responsible for relative value bond research in the EMU region. He has been actively involved in the expansion of the jumbo covered bond market in other European jurisdictions.

Joerg Huber - LBBW

Joerg Huber, head of debt capital markets at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), joined the bank in 2002 to build up LBBW’s new issue activities, focusing mainly on borrowers in Europe. Huber started his career with Deutsche Bank where he worked in various product areas and locations, including Tokyo, Frankfurt and London. In 1996 he joined JP Morgan as head of syndicate and in 1999 moved to DZ Bank as head of new issues.
