Cristiane Valle - ABN AMRO

Responsible for debt capital market origination at ABN AMRO, Valle oversees external and local issuance of bonds and asset-backed securities. Before ABN AMRO, Valle was at ING and CSFB.

Johannes Van de Ven - Unibanco

Responsible for institutional fixed income sales at Unibanco Securities in New York. Prior to joining Unibanco, Van de Ven was involved in institutional fixed-income sales at Bozano Simonsen in New York, and head of trading at Espirito Santo in Miami.

Enrique Bustamante - DrKW

Managing director and head of LatAm corporate finance and origination at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Bustamante is responsible for capital markets and M&A for LatAm clients including sovereigns and corporates. Prior to joining DrKW in 2001, he worked in the LatAm capital markets group at Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for Mexico and the Andean region.

Luis Schiriak - Grupo Votorantim

Chief financial officer of Votorantim Participacoes, Schiriak is responsible for the finances of one of Brazil’s biggest conglomerates. Schiriak joined the firm in January 2004. Before that, he was the vice president of finance for wireless operator BCP between 2001–2003. Previously, Schiriak was finance director at C&A in Brazil between 1995–2000.

Fernando Fontes Iunes - Itau BBA

Director at Itau BBA. Iunes joined Itau BBA at its inception in 2003. Prior to that he worked for three years at Banco Itau as head of its investment banking effort, and almost eight years at Banco BBA-Creditanstalt in New York and Sao Paulo. He has also worked at the World Bank on research in infrastructure and urban development and is a vice president of the self regulatory commission at Brazil’s ANBID, the national association of investment banks.

Ricardo Moura - Treasury

Adviser to Treasury Secretary Joaquim Levy. Moura is responsible for Brazil’s external debt and joined the Treasury in January 2005. Moura transferred from the central bank where he worked for 10 years and was deputy head of its external debt and international relations department. Before that, Moura worked at Banco Nacional and ABN AMRO.

Gerardo Mato - HSBC

Head of LatAm global investment banking financing at HSBC. Mato joined HSBC in 2002 from Merrill Lynch, where he was head of LatAm corporates and sovereigns.

Cynthia Powell - JPMorgan

Managing director, head of syndicate at JPMorgan’s global emerging markets division. Powell is responsible for the primary distribution of bonds for international investment and non-investment grade issuers from non-G10 counties.

Sandy Severino - Citigroup

Director at Citigroup global markets, responsible for Brazilian bond origination for the LatAm capital markets desk. Severino has more than 15 years of banking experience, including 10 years of direct experience executing fixed-income and liability management transactions for LatAm issuers. Prior to joining Citigroup, he was at Deutsche Bank.

Charles Achoa - Credit Suisse

Director at Credit Suisse based in New York, overseeing origination and execution of debt transactions from Brazil. Achoa has been involved in all CS’s lead transactions for Brazilian clients raising funds offshore since 2002. Achoa joined CSFB in November 2000 when the firm acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was a member of the emerging markets derivatives group with responsibility for derivatives marketing and structuring in Brazil.

Nadine Cavusoglu - UBS

Managing director, LatAm debt capital markets, UBS Investment Bank. She is responsible for corporate debt origination in the region. Prior to joining UBS in 1997, Ms. Cavusoglu worked in Citicorp’s LatAm project finance group.

Denise Moura - Bradesco

Head of capital markets Bradesco. Moura is responsible for investment banking activities as well as origination and syndication of all local and external capital market products offered by Bradesco such as debentures, ABS funds and IPOs. Moura has been with Bradesco since she started her career in banking 20 years ago.

Henry Gonzalez - Santander

Head of Santander Investment, member of the executive committee of Santander Brasil. Gonzalez oversees the investment bank, including ECM, DCM, M&A, structured finance and the broker dealer units of the bank. He joined Santander in 1992.
