Valeria Ceccarelli
SIX Swiss Exchange
Valeria Ceccarelli is head of origination in the issuer relations team at SIX Swiss Exchange. Before joining SIX Swiss Exchange in 2013, she worked for more than 11 years in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley in London and Milan. She worked in all areas of corporate finance (M&A, IPOs, bond issues and financing) in different countries and different industries. Subsequently she worked for about three years as investment manager at private equity firm Ambienta SGR.

Steven Halperin
Barclays
Steven Halperin is co-head of EMEA equity capital markets at Barclays, a position he has held since early 2013. Halperin moved to London from New York to lead EMEA equity-linked origination in April 2011. He was previously a managing director in the Americas equity-linked and hybrid solutions team at Barclays having moved across when the UK bank acquired the US operations of Lehman Brothers in 2008.

Suneel Hargunani
Citigroup
Suneel Hargunani is head of EMEA equity syndicate at Citigroup. He was promoted to run the desk in January 2009 and became a managing director the following year. He joined Citi in 2000. Hargunani took a prominent role in marketing a private placing in Hella ahead of an accelerated IPO last year, a move that reflects the changing nature of equity capital markets and role of equity syndicate. The €430m deal was IFR’s EMEA Equity Issue of 2014.

Sam Kendall
UBS
Sam Kendall is global head of equity capital markets at UBS, based in Hong Kong. Kendall joined UBS in 1996 and has worked in Sydney, New York, Singapore, London and Hong Kong. Prior to taking on the global role, Kendall was head of ECM Asia, and before that ran Asia equity syndicate and blocks. During his time running syndicate in Asia he built the bank’s capability in accelerated trades into a profitable business line. He also spent a year in London as head of equity syndicate for EMEA.

Luis Vaz Pinto
Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking
Luis Vaz-Pinto was appointed global head of equity capital markets and deputy global head of corporate finance in April 2012, having joined the bank in 2010 as head of syndicate. Previously he was managing director in investment banking at Troika Dialog in Moscow. He was head of syndicate and corporate broking at JP Morgan for three years, following 10 years at Merrill Lynch where he covered France, Belgium & Iberia.

Jens Voss
Commerzbank
Jens Voss joined Commerzbank in July 2013 as head of equity capital markets. He has almost 20 years of experience in banking. Prior to joining Commerzbank, Voss was responsible for strategic equity solutions covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Citigroup, a role that covered origination, structuring and execution. Prior to that, he worked at Societe Generale and Credit Suisse working in Frankfurt, Paris and London.
