Doug Baird
Citigroup
Doug Baird is chairman of Citigroup’s ECM business where he is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of equity and equity-linked financing transactions for the bank’s corporate clients. He has more than 25 years’ experience in initial public offerings, follow-on financings, convertible debt and preferred offerings, registered block trades, Dutch auction repurchases and other transactions involving the public equity markets.

Craig Dedomenico
Stifel
Craig DeDomenico is a managing director in ECM Origination for Stifel with responsibilities in industrial, consumer and key growth verticals. He also leads the firm’s equity-linked capital markets business.

Michael Kuchmek
Schonfeld Group
Michael Kuchmek is global head of equity syndicate at Schonfeld Group, a long-short hedge fund with US$17bn gross market value under management. Prior to Schonfeld Group, Kuchmek was part of the capital markets team at SAC/Point 72. He has an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business where he graduated with honours.

Brett Paschke
William Blair
Brett Paschke is the head of ECM at William Blair & Company, responsible for the sourcing, structuring and execution of public equity offerings. Paschke is a member of the firm’s equity commitment committee and executive leadership group. He served on the IPO Task Force, which produced the recommendations that became the basis for the JOBS Act, a key piece of legislation that has streamlined IPOs for emerging growth companies.

Pawan Passi
Morgan Stanley
Pawan Passi is a managing director on the US equity syndicate desk at Morgan Stanley. Since joining Morgan Stanley in 2004, Mr Passi has completed over 1,000 equity capital raises from issuers across more than 30 countries, leading some of the firm’s landmark IPOs for its most important clients. Passi graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MA in economics.

Anna Pinedo
Morrison & Foerster
Anna Pinedo has concentrated her practice on securities and derivatives. She represents issuers, investment banks/financial intermediaries, and investors in financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, as well as structured notes and other hybrid and structured products. Pinedo has particular financing expertise in certain industries, including technology, telecommunications, healthcare, financial institutions, REITs and consumer finance companies. She is the co-author of JOBS Act Quick Start, among other publications.

Carolyn Saacke
New York Stock Exchange
Carolyn Saacke is chief operating officer, capital markets at NYSE, responsible for developing and maintaining the firm’s relationships with the private equity, venture capital, investment banking, legal, professional services and advisory communities. She also oversees key IPO transactions and special projects at NYSE. Prior to NYSE, Saacke was in the investment banking units of Bear Stearns, Citigroup and Deloitte.
