MOVES-Citi hires Banziger from Goldman for high-grade

Citigroup has hired Goldman Sachs banker Marc Banziger as co-head of corporates for US investment-grade bonds. He will work alongside Jeff Kania who was promoted to co-head of corporates.

Banziger was with Goldman for the last decade, most recently as head of healthcare investment grade financing. Prior to joining Goldman, he was with Merrill Lynch. He began his career as an attorney with Davis Polk & Ward.

Kania has been with Citigroup for more than 20 years. He was most recently a managing director in the DCM group.

The bank also promoted Patrice Altongy and Temmy Lizarzabal, naming them co-heads of financial institutions.
