Andrew Ashman is head of loan syndicate, Asia Pacific, at Barclays in Singapore. He has been with the bank’s loan syndications team for over 15 years, covering the origination and distribution of loans in the Asian and European loan markets. He has been involved in a number of environmental, social and governance-linked financings.

Nneka Chike-Obi

Fitch Ratings

Nneka Chike-Obi is director, ESG research, sustainable finance, at Fitch in Hong Kong. She joined in 2020 and covers thematic ESG topics with a particular interest in emerging markets, agriculture, and natural resources. Before joining Fitch, Nneka worked in emerging markets’ impact investing and private equity at Acorus Capital (2015-2020) in Hong Kong and AgDevCo (2012-2015) in London.

Anita Hoskins

Frasers Property Australia

Anita Hoskins is chief financial officer of Frasers Property Australia based in Sydney. She joined in October 2020 and oversees all aspects of finance across the company’s property portfolio and has extensive experience in the property, diversified services and travel and leisure industries spanning Australia, USA and the UK.

Craig Morabito

First Sentier Investors

Craig Morabito is a senior portfolio manager within the short-term investments, fixed-income and global credit team at First Sentier Investors in Sydney. He is responsible for the management of global credit and private debt portfolios including asset selection, relative value analysis and portfolio construction. He joined the firm in 2005 and has been responsible for the suite of global credit products since 2014.

Clean Energy Finance Corp

Based in Brisbane, Ryan Rathborne co-leads the Clean Energy Finance Corp’s property business, which invests debt and equity in projects that accelerate Australia’s transition to lower emissions within the built environment. He has over 10 years of experience across real estate, renewable energy, infrastructure, transport, resources and agriculture.

Tania Smith

ANZ

Tania Smith is a director of sustainable finance at ANZ in Melbourne and a charter environmentalist. She has over 15 years of experience advising governments, investors, global corporates and non-profit organisations within Australia, Asia, the UK, Europe, USA and the Middle East. Tania assists ANZ’s clients transition to a more sustainable and net-zero future through innovative finance such as ESG bonds and loans.

Rob Ward

MUFG

Based in Sydney, Rob Ward is head of MUFG’s project and ESG finance businesses in Oceania. In project finance, he continues to expand MUFG’s business in the region, spanning infrastructure, renewables, utilities and natural resources. In the ESG finance role, he is responsible for all ESG financings in Oceania, contributing to MUFG’s stated target of arranging ¥35trn in this field by 2030.

Mariko Ishikawa

Mariko Ishikawa is a senior correspondent for LPC based in Australia. She joined LPC in 2019, specialising in syndicated loan market and leveraged finance Australasia. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Bloomberg as a reporter in Sydney and in Tokyo covering Asia credit and FX, rates markets. Mariko has written extensively on green and ESG financings in Asia Pacific.

Prakash Chakravarti

LPC (co-moderator)

Prakash Chakravarti is Asia Pacific bureau chief for LPC based in Singapore and leads a team of journalists covering Asian syndicated loans and leveraged finance. He joined IFR Asia in 2002 and has more than 20 years’ experience in Asian capital and finance markets. He has written extensively on corporate loans, M&A, leveraged buyout, green and ESG financings, bonds and equity fundraisings.
