Ivan Chung

Moody’s

Ivan Chung is the representative director for Moody’s Investors Service in Hong Kong. In this role, Ivan ensures a sound and controlled operating environment and acts as senior representative and main contact point for key local and regulatory issues.

In addition to his Hong Kong role, Ivan is an associate managing director within Moody’s corporate finance group, where he co-heads the team responsible for Chinese local government financing vehicles ratings.

Ivan first joined Moody’s in 1997 and rejoined in 2006. He has held senior analytical positions both in Moody’s corporate finance group, and most recently acted as the head of Greater China credit research and analysis team.

Ivan holds a BBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MA from City University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Li Zhiming (Mark)

CICC

Mark is managing director and executive head of ABS, and chief of internationalisation in the investment banking department at CICC.

He is a seasoned senior banker with nearly 30 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, global markets, FICC, and ALM. Before joining CICC as a managing director in 2019, Mark worked with financial institutions in financial centres including Luxembourg, Frankfurt, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mark has led more than 1,000 international and domestic transactions totalling over Rmb4trn equivalent, many of which were milestone trades.

Mark graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University, Jinan University, and the Jack Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University, USA. He has a masters degree in management.

Jennifer Zhang

Barclays

Jennifer Zhang is a managing director and head of the debt origination group for China at Barclays, based in Hong Kong.

Jennifer leads the origination and execution efforts for Greater China clients including corporates and financial institutions. Working closely with country and sector coverage, she covers issuers ranging from quasi-sovereign to high yield names and is involved in providing various DCM products.

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance. She joined Barclays in 2010 from RBS. Prior to RBS, she worked at Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank. She also worked as a rating analyst at S&P New York directly after graduation from business school.

Jennifer has an MBA degree from Darden Business School, University of Virginia. She is also a CFA charter holder.

Daniel Stanton

Editor, IFR Asia (Moderator)

Daniel Stanton is the editor of IFR Asia and is based in Singapore. He has been with IFR Asia since 2009, during which time he has held roles including Asia bond editor and Asia equities editor.

IFR Asia has a team of reporters and editors in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Melbourne and Mumbai, covering onshore and offshore capital markets transactions across Asia Pacific.

Before joining IFR, Daniel worked for other financial publications in Singapore, Dubai and London.

He has a MA in International Journalism from Cardiff University, UK.
