Koh Chin Chin

United Overseas Bank

Koh Chin Chin is managing director for group central treasury at United Overseas Bank.

Chin Chin has more than 20 years of practitioner and Big Four experience in the financial services industry. In her current role at UOB, Chin Chin is responsible for the group’s strategic asset-liability management function, funding strategy and debt issuance activities.

Her strategy over the last seven years established UOB as a frequent issuer in both international and regional local currency debt markets.

Chin Chin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia.

Gary Lau

Moody’s

Gary Lau is the Managing Director for Moody’s corporate finance group in Hong Kong.

Gary manages analytical teams in Hong Kong, covering corporate ratings in North Asia ex-Japan. He has extensive experience with Moody’s in analytical and management positions with responsibilities across different industries and geographies.

He has been with Moody’s since 1998. Before joining Moody’s, Gary worked for Barclays Bank and Bank of America in the financial institutions and corporate banking divisions.

He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Social Science, both from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Alan Roch

Credit Agricole

Alan Roch was appointed Head of Credit for Asia-Pacific at Credit Agricole CIB in August 2021 and oversees the global market division’s overall credit products activities in Asia-Pacific across origination, syndicate, trading and sales.

Alan brings 20 years of experience gained in London and Asia including in debt syndicate. He joined Credit Agricole CIB from Standard Chartered Bank where he was head of Asia bond syndicate, based in Hong Kong. Prior to that he was head of debt syndicate for Asia-Pacific at ANZ, following various positions at RBS and ABN Amro, in both Asia and London.

Feng Zhi Wei

Loomis Sayles

Feng Zhi Wei is a senior credit research analyst at Loomis Sayles Investments Asia in Singapore, covering the Chinese corporate sector. She joined Loomis Sayles in 2018, where she plays an integral role in driving strategy and selection for its Asia Bond Plus fund, and has 24 years of experience in the investment and real estate sectors.

Previously, Zhi Wei was executive director of credit research at Standard Chartered Bank, associate director of credit research at Barclays Capital, and director of research and consultancy for Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants. She earned a BSc from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a CDipAF from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Daniel Stanton

Editor, IFR Asia (Moderator)

Daniel Stanton is the editor of IFR Asia and is based in Singapore. He has been with IFR Asia since 2009, during which time he has held roles including Asia bond editor and Asia equities editor.

IFR Asia has a team of reporters and editors in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Melbourne and Mumbai, covering onshore and offshore capital markets transactions across Asia Pacific.

Before joining IFR, Daniel worked for other financial publications in Singapore, Dubai and London.

He has a MA in International Journalism from Cardiff University, UK.
