Nicolas Boulay - Calyon
Boulay is Calyon’s senior country officer for Mexico. He has more than 13 years of experience in the Mexican and Latin American financial markets, during which time he has structured and executed numerous transactions for public and private companies throughout the region. Prior to joining Calyon, he was head of BNP Paribas’ Latin American energy and commodities structured finance team in New York.
Guadalupe Merino - Pemex
Merino is associate managing director of finance at Pemex, a position she took over from Mauricio Alazraki in May 2007. Prior to this, she was associate managing director of risk management at Pemex.
Ricardo Rivera - America Movil
Rivera is deputy director of treasury and finance at Latin America’s largest wireless operator America Movil, where he started working in 2004 as financing manager. He also worked for three years as adviser to Mexico’s deputy minister of finance.
Alicia Nuñez de la Huerta - Ministry of Finance and Public Credit
Nuñez is deputy director general of debt issuance at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. Between 1999 and 2001, she was director of risk management and deputy director general of external credit. She returned to the ministry in 2006 after working in the private sector, where she was CFO for America Movil’s Brazilian subsidiaries and vice president at JPMorgan’s Latin American derivatives group.
Jorge Parra - Hipotecaria Su Casita
Parra is vice president at Hipotecaria Su Casita in the corporate finance group, where he has successfully executed a variety of MBS transactions, including the first Mexican and cross-border RMBSs. Parra has experience in private equity and investment banking, and has co-structured several private and public equity placements in the retail, transportation, chemical and iron-steel sectors.
Eduardo Uribe-Caraza - Standard & Poor’s
Uribe-Caraza is managing director at Standard & Poor’s and analytical leader for Latin America in the industrials ratings division. He is also team leader for the Mexico office, covering banks and corporates, as well as local and regional government ratings. Prior to joining S&P, Uribe-Caraza worked in credit and risk management at Chemical Bank’s Mexico office. He started his career as a credit analyst at Citibank Mexico.
Ricardo Fernández - Credit Suisse
Fernández is director - Mexico debt capital markets - at Credit Suisse and is responsible for the origination and execution of all debt transactions in the local markets. He also collaborates with the DCM and ABS teams in New York for Mexican cross-border transactions. Before joining Credit Suisse in 2005, Fernández worked in the DCM department at JPMorgan in New York and Mexico.
Ricardo Cano - BBVA Bancomer
Cano is managing director and head of DCM at BBVA Bancomer. He joined BBVA Probursa in 1997 when the DCM group was created. Prior to that, he worked in the Latin American project finance team at ABN AMRO in Miami and in various investment banking functions at Mexival Banpais.
Humberto Cabral - Banamex
Cabral is director in charge of local debt capital markets at Banamex, a position he has held since 2004. He joined Citigroup in 2000 as vice president and has more than 16 years of experience covering Mexico’s capital markets,
specialising in local and foreign unsecured issues as well as structured transactions.
