Jaime Frontera - Barclays Capital

Jaime Frontera is a director with the global loans group of Barclays Capital. He is responsible for syndicating transactions generated in Latin America and USA. In addition, he is responsible for trading Latin American secondary assets. Prior to joining Barclays, Frontera worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers providing cross-border advisory services in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Marco Antonio Achon - BBVA

Marco Antonio Achon is managing director of the syndicated loans group for Latin America at BBVA. He joined from Argentaria Banco de Negocios in New York, where he was vice-president of the Latin American Group, responsible for origination and distribution of DCM products for Latin American corporates.

Jean-Philippe Adam - Calyon

Jean-Philippe Adam is managing director responsible for developing Calyon’s footprint in fixed income, syndicated lending and securitisation throughout Latin America. He joined Credit Lyonnais in Argentina in 1988, following a short stint at Societe Generale.

Stefania Berla - IFC

Stefania Berla is global head of syndications with the syndications and resource mobilisation department of IFC. She joined Citicorp investment bank in London until 1993 when she joined IFC. Prior to assuming global responsibilities she was responsible for syndications in Latin America.

Rodrigo Gracia - Calyon

Rodrigo Gracia is a vice-president in the loan syndication group at Calyon. Most recently, Gracia was a VP in the Latin America DCM group of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, which he joined in 2002. Prior to DrKW, he was an associate in JP Morgan Chase’s global syndicated finance division.

Marcia Vorona - ABN AMRO

Marcia Vorona is vice-president, emerging markets loan syndication, Latin America at ABN AMRO. She joined the bank in 1990 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Previously she worked for 10 years in ABN AMRO Brazil. In 2000 she was transferred to New York where she worked for trade credit distribution and emerging markets loan syndication – Latin America.

Mauricio Alazraki - Pemex

Mauricio Alazraki is associate managing director of finance at Mexican oil group Pemex. He heads capital markets and is responsible for all funding for Pemex, where he has been for five years.

Katia Bouazza - HSBC

Katia Bouazza is SVP, head of Latin America syndicated finance at HSBC. She has over 10 years of experience in fixed income on Wall Street, and has been with HSBC for the past eight years, including four specialising in emerging markets origination with a focus on Latin America and previously Asia.

Therese Rabieh - JPMorgan

Therese Rabieh is an MD who heads the emerging markets distribution and syndication activities for JPMorgan focusing mostly on Latin America. She began her career as a trader of foreign exchange for Credit Suisse in Beirut. Prior to joining Chemical Bank in 1993, Rabieh worked at Banco do Comercio e Industria de Sao Paulo in Brazil, Bankers Trust and the Bank of New York.

Luis Rodriguez - Pemex

Luis Rodriguez supports Mauricio Alazraki on capital markets transactions at Pemex.

Gerardo Mato - HSBC

Gerardo Mato is MD, Head of Latin America global investment banking financing at HSBC. He joined the bank in 2002. Prior to that he was head of Latin American corporates and sovereigns at Merrill Lynch. He also held similar positions at Salomon and Citicorp Securities.
