Mike Kapoor

Mike Kapoor is head of syndicated finance for mid-caps at Commerzbank covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His team offers the full spectrum of syndicated loans across origination, structuring, execution, syndication and sales. Kapoor has more than 20 years of experience in the European syndicated loan business, having covered numerous asset classes, including for mid and large-cap investment-grade corporates, project and infrastructure finance, aircraft finance and commercial real estate. Kapoor has been at Commerzbank since 2010. Before that, he worked at Dresdner Kleinwort and Dresdner Bank, latterly in loan syndications.

DZ Bank
Frank Schehl heads up DZ Bank’s syndication and sales team which covers syndicate and distribution activities in the primary and secondary markets across all of the bank’s lending products and regions. Prior to his current position, Schehl held several other management positions at the bank, including leading the bank’s leveraged finance platform and, based in New York, its US asset securitisation business. Before joining DZ Bank in 2005, Schehl worked in syndicated lending roles at WestLB in London and at Siemens Financial Services.

ING
Harald Loh is head of loan syndicate covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland at ING, part of the bank’s global loan distribution group. Loh’s team originates, structures and executes syndicated loan and event-driven financings for corporate clients. He joined ING at the beginning of 2017 and previously worked in UniCredit’s syndicated loan team, working on transactions for Western European corporates. He started his career at Deutsche Bank in the loan capital market and acquisition finance team, structuring and executing syndicated loans, event-driven financings and restructurings for German large-cap corporates.

Thomas Wolff is an executive director at LBBW, originating syndicated loans for large corporates. He has over 30 years’ experience in syndicated lending. Prior to joining LBBW in July 2023, Wolff was an MD in BNP Paribas’ loan capital markets team, responsible for originating, structuring and underwriting loans for German and Austrian investment-grade borrowers. Before BNPP, he worked for international banks in various capacities, including Royal Bank of Scotland, where he worked for more than 10 years, and at Deutsche Bank, which he joined in 1990.

Johannes Eckardt is a director in UniCredit’s global syndicate team, responsible for corporate loans in Western Europe, mainly Germany and Austria but also France and the Nordics. He has almost 20 years of experience in the European loans business. Prior to joining UniCredit in 2017, Eckardt spent 10 years at SEB in Germany and Sweden arranging and structuring corporate loans for medium and large corporate clients. He started his career at Commerzbank in 2000 in the financial engineering team responsible for lending to German Mittelstand clients.

Keith Mullin is founder and director of KM Capital Markets, a media and thought-leadership consultancy, and adviser for banking, investment banking, global capital markets, social and sustainable finance, financial regulation, and related topics. Mullin has spent more than 40 years in specialist banking media and media-related fields, most latterly in the thought-leadership group of the capital markets insights group of Thomson Reuters, now Refinitiv. He was previously editor-in-chief of the company’s capital markets publishing group, which includes IFR.
