Amir Hoveyda - Merrill Lynch

Amir Hoveyda is Managing Director and head of EMEA DCM at Merrill Lynch. In addition to his management role, Hoveyda has direct client coverage responsibility for selected banks and insurance companies in the UK, Switzerland, France and the Benelux. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1996 from Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for debt capital markets origination in France and started his career in 1988 as an analyst in the investment banking department of Salomon Brothers based in London.

Dean O’Hara - RBC Capital Markets

Dean O’Hara is a director at RBC Capital Markets in London. Since joining RBC, he has been responsible for non-core dollar syndicate, with a particular focus on Kangaroo issues and borrowers in Europe. Before moving to London in 2003, O’Hara was based at RBC’s offices in Sydney where he worked on the syndication and origination of Kangaroo and domestic bonds, as well as the origination of foreign issuers into offshore markets. Prior to RBC, he was a senior manager for Suncorp Metway, responsible for the firm’s own funding through Senior, Tier 1 and Tier 2 capital transactions in the global capital markets.

Holger Kron - Deutsche Bank

Holger Kron is a managing director and head of niche currency Eurobonds and corporate credit retail at Deutsche Bank. He joined the bank in 1989 in the equity trading business before transferring to fixed-income trading in 1991. In 1998 he started to develop a market in Eurobonds denominated in Eastern European currencies and since then the number of active currencies steadily grew into other regions, to become an integrated niche-currency Eurobond book. In 2005 he took on additional responsibilities for the bank’s efforts in euro and US dollar corporate book.

Eila Kreivi - EIB

Eila Kreivi is head of funding for America and Asia Pacific Capital Markets at the European Investment Bank (EIB). Prior to joining the financing arm of the European Union in 1995, she worked at the Union Bank of Finland and Société Générale, in several domains including commercial banking, derivative products, treasury and capital markets.

Michael Gower - Rabobank

Michael Gower is head of long-term funding at Rabobank and has had overall responsibility for all of the bank’s long-term funding since 2005, prior to which he was responsible for public senior debt issuance of Rabobank. After a brief time with Arthur Andersen, he joined Lehman Brothers, where he worked in M&A from 1996 to 1997 and then in the investment banking department until 2003 focusing on fixed-income origination for European corporates.

Stefan Goebel - Rentenbank

Stefan Goebel is vice president and co-head of funding/assets at Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank, Germany’s agency for agriculture and rural areas. He joined the agency in 2000 and is responsible for international funding and investor relations. Prior to that he was head of syndicated funding at Allgemeine Hypothekenbank and has previously worked in debt capital markets at Deutsche Bank where he covered Asian issuers.
