Felipe Duque

Allen & Overy

Felipe Duque is a partner in Allen & Overy’s International Capital Markets group. His practice focuses on debt and equity capital markets transactions, US securities law and general corporate matters. He advises corporate and financial institution clients on offerings of high yield, convertible and investment grade debt, liability management transactions, initial public offerings, follow-ons, block trades and other strategic equity investments.

Duque also has significant experience advising sovereign issuers and state-owned enterprises on capital markets transactions and private equity groups on M&A and matters relating to their portfolio companies.

Monica Hsiao

Triada Capital

Monica Hsiao is founder and CIO of Triada Capital, a Pan-Asia credit multi-strategy manager based in Hong Kong focused on event-driven and fundamental credit plays in Asia.

Prior to launching Triada, she was last at CQS, a US$14bn+ UK-based hedge fund, in their Hong Kong office, where she spent several years as senior PM and head of Asian credit strategies.

Before joining CQS, Hsiao managed a global credit portfolio as a proprietary trader in London at both Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. She started her career in finance as a portfolio manager at Nomura International’s asset investment division in London.

Buddhika Piyasena

Fitch Ratings

Buddhika Piyasena is a regional managing director of Fitch Ratings and is responsible for Fitch's corporate ratings activities in the Asia Pacific region. His group rates issuers across all corporate sectors on both international and national rating scales.

Piyasena was head of Fitch’s Asia Pacific energy and utilities ratings team from 2011 to 2017, and a director in the Asia industrials ratings team from 2004.

He was previously a senior manager in the transaction advisory services division of Ernst & Young in Sri Lanka. Piyasena is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).

Fredric Teng

Standard Chartered

Fredric Teng is Head of High Yield Product Group for Greater China North Asia at Standard Chartered Bank. He joined Standard Chartered Bank in April 2015 after five years at Oracle Capital, a credit hedge fund he co-founded, based in Hong Kong.

Fredric has over 25 years of experience in capital markets. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in 1995 as a credit bond trader in London, before moving to Tokyo and finally settling in Hong Kong. His last position at Lehman Brothers was as head of bond syndicate for Asia (including Japan).

Fredric graduated with a Bachelors of Law degree from King's College, University of London.

Albert Yau

Zhongliang Holdings Group

Albert Yau is Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Zhongliang Holdings Group, a Hong Kong-listed Chinese property developer, where he is responsible for capital market operations and overall financial management. Zhongliang is rated B1 (Moody’s), B+ (S&P), B+ (Fitch) and BB (Lianhe) and reported contracted sales of Rmb67.7bn in the first half of 2020, up 6% year on year.

He joined Zhongliang in April 2019 after eight years at CIFI Holdings (Group) and has over 24 years of professional experience in capital markets and corporate management.

Albert graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Chen Yi

Haitong International Securities

Chen Yi is managing director and Head of Global Capital Markets at Haitong International Securities Group, based in Hong Kong. He has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking, including at least 10 years in global capital markets financing. Prior to joining Haitong International, Chen held senior positions at Deutsche Bank, where he gained extensive experience in structuring and executing overseas capital market financings for mainland Chinese enterprises.

Chen holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce and Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China and a MBA degree from Arizona State University in the US.
