Thomas Wolff

Thomas Wolff is a managing director in the loan capital markets team of BNP Paribas responsible for originating, structuring and underwriting loan transactions for German and Austrian investment-grade borrowers. He has 30 years of experience in the European syndicated loan business. Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2014, Wolff held loan market, banking and leveraged finance positions at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he worked for more than 10 years; and at Deutsche Bank, which he joined in 1990.

Reinhard Haas

Commerzbank

Reinhard Haas is global head of syndicated finance at Commerzbank, with teams in Frankfurt, London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong offering the full spectrum of syndicated debt products across origination, structuring, execution, syndication and primary sales functions. As well as the variants of syndicated loan products, the offering also comprises private debt formats (Schuldschein and US private placements), high-yield bonds and institutional term loans. Haas has also worked at Dresdner Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort.

Ulrich Kittmann

DZ Bank

Ulrich Kittmann is one of two co-heads of the German syndicated corporate loan origination team at Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, DZ Bank. In this role for 10 years, he is well versed in all aspects of Mittelstand debt financing. Prior to his current position, Kittmann was a member of the bank’s London syndications team, having joined the bank in 2004. Before that, he spent 10 years at Commerzbank, including three years in loan origination as well as roles in the bank’s credit department.

Juergen Breuer

Pemberton

Juergen Breuer is a partner and head of the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at Pemberton. He has 25 years’ experience of corporate and leveraged lending and in private equity investing. Prior to joining Pemberton in 2015, Breuer was a co-founder of Astorius Capital, an initiator and issuer of private equity fund-of-funds. Previous positions have included global head of active credit portfolio management and global head of leveraged finance and financial sponsors at WestLB, and head of leveraged finance DACH at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Keith Mullin, KM Capital Markets (moderator)

Keith Mullin is founder and director of KM Capital Markets, a media and thought leadership consultancy and adviser for banking, investment banking, global capital markets, social and sustainable finance, financial regulation, and related topics. Before setting up KM Capital Markets in 2018, Mullin spent more than 30 years in specialist banking media and media-related fields, most latterly in the thought leadership group of the capital markets insights group of Thomson Reuters, now Refinitiv. He was previously editor-in-chief of the company’s capital markets publishing group, which includes IFR.
